Mark Lewin's My Amazing Life
About Raw Food Diet
Here I am again, 80 years old, lined up on the front row of my weekly 5k race. We’re off and I’m in the lead. Where is everybody? We pass the first mile marker. The clock reads 5:45. Some of the younger runners pass me.
The two mile marker comes up at 11:30. In no time we have only one tenth of a mile to go. I give one final surge and pass everyone. I win. Unbelievable. Everyone is yelling. How can this old man win. Then I woke up.
Ok, so it was only a dream. However, I am sure most of you have had dreams or fantasized about accomplishing impossible things. Well I can tell you right now, you should be able to with the information you receive here. You will learn how to stay healthy and strong, so you can live long and enjoy your life too.
My name is Mark Lewin. I’m a 80 year old soon to be an ex physically challenged runner. The Amazing Raw Food Diet website was launched in the summer of 2009. I created this site to benefit everyone who desires to live in optimum vibrant health and live a higher quality more abundant and longer life. For ex athletes who would like to be involved in sports again but can not because of health and physical ailments, This site is for you.
For those of you who would like to become an athlete this site is for you. And finally for those of you who would like to take your athletic endeavors to heights you have only dreamed about (this includes athletes who are already at the world class level) this site is for you.
You don’t have to be an athlete to benefit from this information. Unless you place your health first, no matter what your passion is in life, you won’t be able to enjoy it. I picked long distance running and walking, since that is my passion when it comes to staying active.
Here is a bit of my background: I suffered a spinal cord injury when I was 22 which left both arms partially paralyzed and affected my running ability when I was 39. I have run and walked over 20 marathons and ultra marathons, the longest distance being 70 miles. I have run competed in hundreds of running races. I was on the swimming team in high school. In 1963 I held the U.S. Navy sit up record of 3033 sit ups. I have had a passion for health and fitness since I was a teenager. Since the age of 25 my passion expanded to long distance running and at the age of 35 I developed a passion for proper nutrition. I am about 30 credit hours shy of obtaining a B.S. degree in Exercise Science.
I am happily married for 40 years. We have two sons. Our older son Jeremy had Down Syndrome and passed away suddenly on March 25, 2010 from the Swine Flu. We live in Tamarac, Florida. May you live long and prosper.
